Because they’ve consistently played together over a long period. Our team chops and changes every two seconds.
Given that Foster has more or less refused to make any changes not forced on him, I find this an incredible statement.
The team we named against France had one greenhorn, and he was on the wing.
That's been one of our biggest issues -- players remain in the starting team regardless.
Yeah it seems a bit hard for some to admit that other countries have better players than NZ at the moment
Razor is literally going to have to lead a revolution to get us back to the top
I certainly don't expect us to be world number one by the end of 2024, but I do expect some sensible, hard-nosed tactics & game plans. He's got 4 years, and it cannot be worse then the 4 we have just suffered through
I would be happy with consistent and competitive.

I feel that we are less than the sum of our parts right now. So if Razor can instill better direction there is no reason why we can't raise our level in a short space of time. That doesn't necessarily mean back to number one, but that we aren't the easy out that we've become

Ireland the favourites for me, then SA and France, then NZ and England as dark horses. I don’t think any other side can win.

I'd have SA personally. Forward dominance usually leads to wins - it's very unusual they don't have a decent kicker. In tighter games as referees swallow whistles (ie the knockouts) I'd pick them.
So yeah, Ireland are probably more beatable. They'll still roll us, but we'll have a shot

Ireland’s issue is going to be the consecutive games they’re gonna have to get up for. Scotland game of their life. All Blacks/Italy game of their life. Semi against whoever game of their life. Boks/France in the final… Nobody will have ever done it harder

Pretending these are teams of a country.I think you misunderstand. I was just talking about the fact that they have created a system that allows their players to shine. I don't believe ours is doing that right now. The poaching of international players is another issue entirely

TBH my post wasn’t about foreign players it was about their systems which work really well. For some reason you decided to turn into a poaching discussion.
