I can't say i'm too impressed by McGrath as Auckland coach.
Auckland have gone from one mediocre coach to another.

Blunted our attacking options, and some truely bizarre ref calls too. Touch judge on this side never called the offsides either.

Massive errors. The season would be a lot better if Plummer (when fit) was at 10 and Sullivan at fullback
Or even McKenzie at 10

What exactly has Jono Hickey achieved to be Auckland assistant coach? Seems to me he went nearly straight from one of the worst Auckland 9s I can ever remember to a cushy assistant role.

@KiwiMurph many people in Auckland Rugby asking the same question about Hickey , what has he really done coaching wise..?
Interestingly enough he turned up to one of Manukau Rovers training nights to see what they were doing differently
Given Rovers had a possible upcoming semi final against G-Tech in the coming weeks , even though he was there in his Auckland capacity , he was politely asked to leave given he had ties with G-Tech ..
