@sparky in particular was in fine form White Knighting Sotutu ( and A Ioane ) saying amongst other things that opposition teams fear him and he would be a “transformation player” if he qualified for England.

Umm, where have you been? There was plenty of outcry about Hoskins omission. Sititi hasn't really played until last week so his performances weren't up to be questioned like Slackbladder's, regardless of where he plays.

So for example if he coached the crusaders to get the better of the blues in his time , particularly in the forwards , those opinions were set in stone before 2024 kicked off .

My narrative would have Papali'i performing better but it's simply not the case. I think he's gone backwards under Robertson with his general play. His defensive workrate isn't as high but I do think he's been the best loose forward this year at the breakdown.

Finau has not made that much impact no fucking way he is missing most of the time.This is something you made up in your head. His performances against England were underrated. His workrate was good and from the eye he hit a lot of rucks too. We won significantly more rucks against England across the 2 tests and we won significantly more rucks under 3 seconds.
