The min gaps at the Roosters is in the centres with Joey Manu and Suiali'i moving on, while they still have Tupou and Marky Mark on the books.

Sydney Roosters have a current AB in there sights , my pick is Stephenson but think it's the next step up., they sound confident of getting his signature, and it's not Caleb.

@george33 Have a feeling this one is Quinn Tupaea. would make sense too considering he has slipped down the pecking order with the AB's.

So you think its Stevenson but not Stevenson?

And if it’s a step up and from Auckland then Rieko or Telea would be the locals, I assume?

I like it when you introduce rumors but can you be a bit clearer?

@george33 Stevenson doesn’t make any sense for the Roosters. He won’t play centre and they already have Tupou and Young on the wings.

If it is an AB, it would most likely have to be a centre. Narawa has a NZ contract till 26. Tupaea is off contract 25 and so is Telea. Telea is 28 later this year so don’t think he would be a NRL convert either.

Was the knock on Marky Mark too and Roosters happily signed him....

Tupou is finishing 2026, but is already 33, I doubt he plays 1st grade as a winger until then suspect Marky Mark is back up here, but unknown at this stage

Oh good, Wayne Smith is still living in the past. The article is paywalled, but

Sir Wayne Smith has outlined his vision for New Zealand rugby, that centres on embracing the grassroots game, harnessing coaching innovation and the All Blacks prioritising attacking intent to regain the mantle atop the world.

So 2015 all over again, which has worked so well 2017+ 🙄

Shields was painful to listen to in the NZ-Eng post-match. Luckily I had recorded as I was only interested in the interviews, not the talking heads.
