Perofeta voluntarily threw them the ball. Then jogged back to an area he had no teammates at and then when they tapped it, he jogs after the ball carrier and misses the tackle

I'm an idiot and I agree with your blame assignment. Lam was always on a hiding to nothing given he was risking a PT and YC for a lineball call of offside. Not much he could do there.
