Having seen Germany play, you can see what their strategy is for chance creation. Havertz the front focus, Gundogan the link man, Musiala and Wirtz floating side to side looking for space, Andrisch the work horse and Kroos the "quarterback". Then Mittelstadt and Kimmich push up from full back to provide width and support to Musiala and Wirtz - meanwhile Kroos drops back to provide a 3 man cover.

For England ...... get the ball to Saka and hope he creates something. At least he has Walker there to support and provide width. Other than that, make it up as they go along.

Best first half of football I’ve ever seen the Swiss play. Absolutely excellent and leading krauts 1-0. Switzerland is usually organised but a bit dull but this is next level. Need to keep it up though.
