We finished the stronger, had some big calls go against us but held on anyway. England were very good but ran out of puff in the end. Aumua was huge, he and Taylor are an excellent 1-2 punch.

I think ref was good. Couple of cock-ups at the end but all ends well.

No idea what that last PK was, other than ref realising he had cocked up in the previous ruck.

That was a lucky win. Not impressed by the selection and coaching coming in to this, but will give leeway for the short build-up.

Papalii counter rucked excellently there. He's the only loose forward who hit rucks.

Papali’i was lucky as I reckon, but took his chance and we got one.

Thought Vaa’i made a good decision at that ruck too.

Good to get a win to start the year. We're never at our best to start the season off and will be much better for the run. It's tough coming together so soon after the end of the domestic season against a tough physical England side who gave it to us.

Hard win, rusty as fuck and England very good. Especially defence, we still don't know how to deal with rush defence, almost a decade and still haven't figured it. Need more munters like aumua, people who can make fucking metres up the middle
