Blues 2025

Crusaders have had an easy run of games with almost all the teams they’ve faced being severely under strength. It will be interesting to see how they go against NZ sides at full strength going forward.
@Canes4life they have played both the Chiefs and the Blues although the Blues had few out
Still I would rather be sitting where they are compared to where the Blues are sitting at the minute
Massive game coming up for Blues this weekend against your boys
Heard Kurt Eklund might be out again came back too soon against the Chiefs a couple of weeks back and re aggravated the groin strain he already have
Hopefully the extra week off might do the trick -

@Tim i just think with youngers hookers it takes a bit of time , we have seen this with Amua what i do know if you are smaller hooker you really do have to be some special , both Amua and Bason come into the wrecking ball when carrying list
I know one of the things that kept Kurt Eklund out of rep rugby for so long was his inability at lineout throwing time debuted for Auckland at 25 or 26 if i recall
Was outstanding in all the other areas for Varsity in younger years -

Was outstanding in all the other areas for Varsity in younger years@Steven-Harris it isnt like throwing to a lineout hasnt been an issue in NZ rugby since, well, forever!
Sure we have had those that can, but I think for decades now we havent been that great.
