Drua 33 - 26 L A Rugby. Annoyingly it was live on Sky but I did not find out until I found the post match interviews while channel flipping from the sevens.

Some good tries, but fairly tough watch, a lot of basic handling errors. Probably be a replay anyway.

Who had the fastest bronco time for the Blues and Highlanders? I'm just curious if anyone other than a halfback is ever the quickest now. I know BB has the fastest time at 4:12 from May 2020, which Roigard equalled last year. It's probably a little easier in cooler conditions than in Dec/Jan.

                    Blues - ?
                    Chiefs - Charlie Sinton 4:20
                    Hurricanes - Jai Tamati 4:23
                    Crusaders - Kyle Preston 4:13
                    Highlanders - ?

@Bovidae Blues best was Cole Forbes - From this Stuff article - . " and he started the 2025 pre-season with the best bronco time (4min 23sec) of the assembled players in December, 11sec shy of the New Zealand record held by his new team-mate, All Black Beauden Barrett, and Cam Roigard."

James Marshall interviewed the new Super Rugby CEO who talks about how he's going to make Super Rugby great again.

He talks about Fantasy Rugby which is already half a month behind its launch date. Not a good start but atleast the CEO is young as is looking at ways to innovate.

We never wanted them anyway. They, like @Nepia , just jumped our bandwagon after we won a couple of titles, and have been a millstone around our neck every since.

Keep telling yourself that lie to make you feel better, but you know that success only came to the Chiefs when I joined ... with an assist by that Rennie fella.

Highlanders did it in my first season of switching. The fucking highlanders. I'll probably be open to offers after this season.

Reds up 42-14 at half-time v a Bristol B team. Gotta wonder about the value of all that travel just to play a one sided mis-match game.
