Dale McLeod, Northland coach has taken up a role with the Dragons, I believe Northland will be making an announcement on his replacement in the next week or so.

@Steven-Harris Disappointing as Waikato doesn't have much depth at lock. If Tucker doesn't return we'll be really thin. I hope Filipo has someone lined up. Maybe Eti gets promoted early, but it will rely on McWhannell staying fit.
I'm curious if McAlister opts to stay up north. @Chris is he signed for Canterbury?

Still with Canterbury atm.

I see that Tepaea Cook-Savage is fit again and playing at 1st 5 today for Fraser Tech. There's the other 1st 5 for Waikato as he's played there previously.
-
Ryan Martin, Assistant coach from 2024 has been appointed as HEad Coach following Dale McLeods departure.
I think it at least provides some continuity of ideas, and by all accounts is well liked and respected.

Sae on the Hurricanes player write ups that Will Tucker's province is listed as Canterbury. Heading back up the state highway and has finished his time at Otago
-
Hearing former Harbour & Northland player Marty Veale is on the shortlist to be the assistant coach of the Auckland Npc team
Was in charge of the Taniwha for short period before heading back to the states to link up with New York rugby -
@Tim would be an awesome pick up

Has Liam Pratt signed with Waikato? He has been the Canterbury B prop for the past few seasons but hasn’t had an opportunity at the next level. Looks to be playing club rugby for Te Awamutu Sports Club now

My understanding is that the 6 Waikato props are already sorted. Ayden Johnstone has retired and will be replaced by Will Martin.
I note that Joe Walsh is back too from Southland.
