“It's a bit trite, but now this has turned into something bigger than Africa, I am a little bit concerned about people who say ‘I'm going to show you how I can wave my cowbell around’,” Mansbridge said on Wednesday.“I've already received threats this morning by phone, by email, from people who are very passionate about it.
“Some person suggested they're going to bury a cowbell in my head, that's how they're feeling about it.”
@Chris there was a thing on tv1 earlier today about tennis players receiving abuse and threats via social media when they lost, almost half due to gambling, we know Barnes and other refs have received abuse too, sad world out there now for many in the public eye.
Pretty sad making threats like that, but banning them seems a bit OTT to me....

Yeah the world we live in is very different with precious people who get their feelings hurt way to easily and over react.

@Chris not sure I’m reading this right but are you saying the issue is more with those getting threatened than those threatening?
People too precious now to not being willing to accept threats to their life / safety?

No other way around people get triggered far too easily these days because of their precious egos so react to things with threats.
Every person is allowed an opinion,it is healthy but if it doesn't agree with their thinking we see an over reaction, which sometimes leads to threats as the only way they can deal with it.. -

Blackadder in for Grace (Grace replaces Kellow on the bench).
Springer in for Fihaki
Bell in for MoananuChiefs
Taukei'aho and Mcallister swap starting/bench
Finau replaces Parker - Boshier replaces Finau on the bench
Tupou replaces Lord
ENS replaces WramplingSo, the Chiefs look a bit weakened - but, we get back The Black Adder!!!

Went along with the Waikato crew to several super games in Sydney back in the early noughties and a couple of warriors games. Not one smack. Even got @gibbit's attention to come over and chat (Oscar was too cool or didn't want to smack anyone while working).
