@antipodean well I saw a few posts on SM asking for loose combo of this
      6: Savea
      7: Kirifi
      8: Jacobson

      That'd work?

The way the wallabies are finishing games we would want to have a decent lead with 20 to go

              There's trouble in camp.

Jeez, I hope not, but that would align with what @tim wrote a couple of days ago.

Ì'd be amazed if there's not. I'd imagine the ABs is very much like The Fern in terms of general happiness.

The only way to have a happy camp is to keep winning. There will still be plenty of malcontents - but, it's hard to muster a convincing argument against the establishment if you have an unbeaten season.

In the ABs, almost everyone will be thinking they should playing - and their mates should be playing - and the management is incompetent - and we should be doing this instead.

I've never worked for an organization where these conversations weren't happening and if things were going badly, they just intensified.

                      That is Du'Plessis Kirifi punctuation.

Richie McCaw would use a fullstop.

                      Sam Cane a semicolon.

The Wallabies are still weakest at set piece. I would expect the All Blacks to look to dominate at that phase. Williams was good against Springboks so he should start with Taylor back. Rest of pack stays. Roigard back, Narawa back ( if fit ) , Jordan back to fullback, Carter to keep his spot. The changes they won’t make but should is at first five - McKenzie or Love, and to get a new backline coach.

For sure, but I was thinking more about Robertson losing the changing room rather than the usual, internal team dynamics

@kev Yeah - they won't panic and drop everyone.

I'd have been inclined to send a few more of their undercooked players back to NPC to give them gametime - e.g. both Williams and Lomax would have been candidates. I can understand why they didn't (risk of injury), but you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

Not sure quite what they'll decide with the loose forwards, midfield (who plays centre) and wing. I don't really have a strong preference at this point.

I'm most interested in what they do at first-five. Do they drop the axe on Beaudy - or is he their man through to the end of the year?

Protected species by the looks. He needs to go to get the backline functioning better.get more direct, LF in the mid field 2nd five maybe,Jordie back to FB Jordan on the wing. with Clarke. Centre well I don't know about Proctor and Reiko seems shot atm.

@Chris I don't think Big Leicester is a compelling option at second-five right now. I think Jordie is locked in in any case.

For the coming weekend, assuming everyone is available - I would probably go something like - Roigard, DMac, Clarke, JBarrett, Ioane, Narawa, Jordan

                                Ratima, BBarrett, Proctor.

I'd have been inclined to send a few more of their undercooked players back to NPC to give them gametime - e.g. both Williams and Lomax would have been candidates. I can understand why they didn't (risk of injury), but you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

If there's a position (or two) that we have covered it's proposed (both sides)

@Chris I don't think Big Leicester is a compelling option at second-five right now. I think Jordie is locked in in any case.

For the coming weekend, assuming everyone is available - I would probably go something like - Roigard, DMac, Clarke, JBarrett, Ioane, Narawa, Jordan

                                        Ratima, BBarrett, Proctor.

Am a fan of that (maybe Tupaea for Proctor)

...probably at least one change too many in the starting backline.
