The Roar reporting Tane Edmed will start at 10
I cant see Australia winning with Edmed.
That would be sign of catastrophic failure by the ABs and the coaches.

Interesting backline. Thank god we finally get to see Roigard-McKenzie, that's the combination we've been waiting way too long for. I think I'm right in saying that Ireland last year is the only big game they've played together? Roigard's kicking and playmaking should take a bit of pressure off McKenzie to do everything for 80 mins, which was an issue late in games last year when combined with poor use of the bench in general.
Leicester may be a good selection, as I think he is effectively an extra hard runner in the forwards. Clarke is a better winger, much better in the air - but if our forward pack lacks runners (and it probably will) then LF may be pretty useful. With him and Carter as wings, the Aussies should attack us in the air, and run at Leicester as they do have pace - and us with Tupaea who isn't a usual 13 - so there are obvious points for them to attack.
Tupaea at centre is an interesting one. He was good enough in Super rugby to deserve a decent shot in tests, and with Jordie locked in at 12 I can see the 'best players on the field' attraction. I don't think he's really a natural centre, and after giving Proctor a decent run and seeing his defense improve, pulling him out and putting in a guy who is very likely to have similar defensive issues at first seems risky.
Not sure why they've picked Ioane, as the starting backline looks a good opportunity to go 6-2 with just Ratima and Love.@reprobate said in All Blacks vs Wallabies Bledisloe II:

Damian McKenzie was named player of the match after a fine performance showing control and flair to help steer his All Blacks side to an assured victory at the Aviva Stadium, scoring 18 points in the process.I'm at a loss at the subsequent selection logic

Ray does seem to be heading in the right direction. A few put out to pasture.
It's about time Love gets a decent 30 minutes. There's no reason why not. -

Well kinda...he needs to show the coaches what they want - which might look pretty unfirey to the rest of us...

James Slipper retiring from Test rugby this weekend as Mike Cron also leaves the Wallabies setup

One Aussie you’d happily buy a beer. Comes across as a top bloke in interviews.

@Bones you mean aimless kicking and unattacking rugby? I reckon i could fit that gameplan.

It's always a tricky question which Aussies you would or wouldn't buy a beer: James Slipper is where I'd draw the line.

You forgot to do a thoroughly uncommitted, meandering chase. Dropped.

Myth of Dmac facebook page has heard the whispers and posted he has now heard Clarkes injured after posting him starting and is now saying L.F if starting… classic.
Myth of Dmac, if you’re reading this…(or whoever is telling him, assuming they found it on here).
- You’re late
- Don’t ruin it for us all mate. Would hate for the oil to be toned right back and not be able to share on here

The Myth of DMac has no oil, and no one surely takes him seriously.
