Athletes told to vacate their rooms 48 hours after their events finish. Cardboard beds to discourage sex. It's a real shame the Olympics Village isn't what it used to be.

Erika down in 5th at 200m. It's World Record pace.

Titmus had it under control the whole way

@booboo I thought Erika through sheer guts was going to pip Katie Ledecky for the Bronze right at the end.

But the top two, especially Titmus, were different class.

At least these were proper swimming events. Get from here to there as fast as you can, not using weird artificial construct where you're obliged to swim slow.

The rest of that Aus Men's team should fellate Kyle Chalmers. Didn't have a prayer without him. Dressel absolutely phoned it in.

That has always annoyed me about swimming events.

Based on that logic track and field should have crawling, hopping on one leg, skipping, walking on hands etc.

Just playing devils advocate here but what about Olympic walking and hurdles? Also a multitude of those cycling events. Wtf is a Kieran?

I guess you could also argue the same about weight classes in lifting, wrestling etc.

Butterfly does give me a horn. Beautiful to watch and farking hard to do. But would agree it should not be a dedicated event. Medley is fair though a think.
