That was a bit gutting. I feel for Wilde but from the looks of it he left it all out there on the run. Can't feel too bad for him.

Huge effort.
Probably expended a bit more on the cycle leg, but he put himself in a position to win gold and Yee had that little bit extra on the run.

An absolutely awesome Silver for Hamish Wilde and he deserves the Coubertin Medal for his sportsmanship at the end there.
Also a word for Alex Yee whose only fault in life is not being a Kiwi.

Did you see some shooters earlier in the week, they wore what looked like leather motorcycle style outfits in the colours of their respective countries during competition. Weird
