Expected though, in the ping pong. Just like Caribbean or African origin sprinters in their new migrant nations. Where the culture,knowledge or physical advantage of the migrant nation is exported to the new.
But east Asian women in golf seems a bit of an anomaly, though.
Although I've just looked up world rankings. Where it is east Asians. Or east Asian origin, dominating. So, maybe there is a stronger tradition of womens golf in those origin countries than I was aware of.
@Rapido I'd say work ethic from a young age plays a part too.
About 15 years back a visiting Korean U19 golf team (mixed) played at my club.
They would practice for hours and hours, sometimes just over a 6ft putt.

GBR jumped the start. Kiwis already into 3rd. Winds very light, Lester said the boats won't foil in this. Not sure who this suits

I don't know why the judges didn't tell them they were over. Let them get half way up the first leg and now they give them the hook. GB must not have heard the call off the line. Now we can focus on Argentina

GBR appear to not know that they jumped the gun. They are just racing. Seems to be that we are almost locked on for medal now.
