@Bovidae In other news:

-
@Bovidae Selby- Rickett will be an ALL Black he has some mongrel about him,on the Field hopefully in the Future.If I was McMillan I would snap him up in a heartbeat.

absolutely gutted for Southland ..in my opinion the Highlanders needed to work with the Southland union to keep Selby Rickit at the Highlanders ..would it not be better to have 2 strong unions that make up the Highlanders ..?.a little miffed at the player himself after Southland stood by him during his trial .
..So much for the investment in your under 19s that took out the National under 19 tournament BOP.. -

@Steven-Harris isn't he still at the Highlanders?
@Bones that's what I was going to say
-
is his contract for beyond 2021? If not, you have to assume the logical next step is Chiefs?

@Bones Yeah, I think it's a bit premature to suggest the Highlanders have already lost him after signing with BOP, although the chances that he'll jump ship after this SR season is a good possibility, of course.
@taniwharugby The duration of his contract hasn't been published (by NZR/Highlanders).

@taniwharugby bit of a douche move then eh, to both Southland and the Highlanders. Then again perhaps his "issues" taught him not to take a professional career for granted and to go get what's best for him (and a lot of people don't think highly of him anyway).
-
did his run in actually occur in Invercargill? he might just really want to get out of town, im sure he gets a few sideways looks

@Bones am sure he has his reasons, but seems tough to ditch Southland when they stood by him through his issues, that I dont expect he will ever shake off.

Some from your region as well.@Chris I've heard plenty, some from your region too, but those guys were lucky many of them played in an era where their every move wasn't scrutinised and people didnt have phones to capture dumb shit, probably in portrait mode too!
