Gibson would be a decent catch, as he might get time (if he doesnt break) whereas Ofa is there largely in name only, but is great for the marketing, development, off field stuff if he cant ever pull the jersey on.

A revolt could eventuate at Auckland Rugby.

A review into the provincial side and subsequent feedback from senior Blues management, has allegedly led to the resignation of assistant coach Filo Tiatia and the potential exodus of headline All Blacks.

The Herald reports discontent within the Auckland squad has seen several All Blacks, including Blues number eight Hoskins Sotutu and prop Ofa Tu’ungafasi, approach rival unions.

Fellow All Blacks Caleb Clarke, Akira Ioane and flanker Blake Gibson are understood to be among others weighing their futures with the province.

Signings announced from Counties today. Jared Page back to Counties from North Harbour, Blues midfielder Tanielu Tele’a, former Southland lock Ray Tatafu, midfield back Amanaki Savieti, and Tongan international tighthead prop Sila Puafisi.
