Bellamy and the Storm have been unreal, I would suggest we may have been predicting their demise for longer than a decade but still kill it. Depends on how long Bellamy also stays I guess. Big losses to the make up of that team but lets see

Yeah I agree complete making of his own volition, cant see the NRL making it easy for him either. Although there is a world where an extra player from the Storm also joins the Eels as a sweetener, the problem for the Storm is there is no one the Eels want right now that the Storm are also willing to let go

Cherries 1 up v Arsenal.
An entertaining game. Bournemouth are a difficult team to play, and you know there will be goals - at both ends.
at least we dont play boring football no wins in 11 though which isnt good but Arsenal were too good on the night

Crowe rules “unsatisfactory” personally would have been great opportunity to say worst Australian action at MCG since 1981

Could argue since 1987. Kinda worse with the Dyer The Liar action on top of the Morrison LB on McDermott ...
Noting that said Jeff Crowe was the captain.
Nice, Jeff clearly missed a trick to have some fun with a serious matter

There was a reason Bournemouth fans shouted "stop the comp" when we reached second.
Some key players already prepping for their new summer teams. Bees always a bogey team, but confidence is down, Evanilson cant hit anything, Petro is a shadow of himself, hoping Dennis is called in and Paulsen called back from loan. Senesi and Semenyo already playing for their new sides. If anyone wants Tav happy to see him go. Thankfully 2 teams already looking like they're down and suddenly we're back in the third race

No way Harry Brook wants to own 26 will singlehandedly take them to safety
-
fuck that bullshit score 26 is where its at

Did I think we would win after yesterday.. no
Well done Black Caps
Many records falling but winning is the best one -
I wouldn’t mind seeing a nz team or two joining the big bash, we have a lot of kiwis playing now anyway and great experience on Aussie decks too

Rigor was another opener who specialised in blunting the opposition attack rather than getting big scores of his own
Concentration and sticking to his limitations were his strengths......until he'd close in on 3 figures and lose concentration late in
8-10 centuries would probably have done him more justice than the 4 he got.
He had three shots he played well and if they weren’t in the spot to play them he left them, frustrating the bowlers. Loved his work, would have loved a couple of more conversions but he was the glue in his era
-
I would say its on Latham getting his ton or not.. 10 runs from him to declare or get out
-
time to start going for records if you cant win, they have one now, if they both get a ton, i suspect thats another

is it the absolute road that the box score suggests?
2 days, 8 wickets, and almost 700 runs
If you bowl in the right areas you can get results, in fact Windies bowled quite well today, but soo much average bowling deservedly getting walloped

Buffet bowling so far.
yep, we feasted and learnt nothing from that first day
-
Well done NZ, great first innings, well set up and continued by Rachin and a nice run a ball cameo by Ajaz

@bayimports Will give them a tiny window to win - a somewhat better chance of a draw.
Both still pretty slim chances in my book. With Lyon vs Jacks and bowling last, Oz appear to have the trump card.
think they are a spin bowler short myself
-
Eng will be happy if they can reduce that deficit below 100 from where they were
