Just rewatched the game. The ABs look so rigid. They just don't look comfortable, at least 2 times there's a clear overlap with the line begging but the outside man is ignored. There's no confidence to make the pass. God knows how you fix that.

Think we are overlooking Tupea somewhat. Won 2 penalties at the breakdown, pretty crucial. Was never a fan but he's kicked on really well.

I saw that too. Was it Roigard who went for the line instead of passing on one ocassion?

The 2 I noted were Vai'i and Tupea I believe. There may have been more.

Absolutely.

Somebody mentioned this ABs team is a bit like the black caps from a few years back where they would select players because they cleared a half century a few seasons back.

The likes of BB and Ioane should have been phased out 2 or 3 seasons ago. Their performances just haven't been enough.

NZRU need to get their head out of their arses. Overseas player selections hasn't damaged the Curry Cup as a competition.

I thought the ABs won the set piece battle. Line out could have been better with a couple of wayward throws but for the most past I thought it was good.

I thought the red was 100% deserved and tbh I'm disappointed it wasn't for the whole game. We drew a series, lost a series and a RWC final off the back of red cards. When it's our turn to capitalise we get 20 minutes. Great.

How many times you reckon Beuden would have kicked the ball away today?
