How did we win last week? This is the worst half of all blacks rugby I've seen in my life.

Love was fairly solid at 10. Nailed a couple of critical goal kicks from out wide, general play kicking was also good with penalty line kicks in particular good. Squared up and ran onto the ball nicely and distribution was excellent creating time and space for his midfield. Not sure if his balance of kick vs pass vs run is quite there yet in terms of game management though. His defence was good but sometimes he comes up a bit too hard acting like a rush midfielder so quick recycles then gave space to the Highlanders due to his eagerness. Arguably even better at fullback (and funnily enough defensively he played a lot of fullback taking many of the high balls sent through by the Highlanders even prior to Cameron coming on) with a critical scorching run towards the end of the game that got the Canes right where they needed to be to win it.

Its strange how often Proctor gets taken on the outside by speed. He was a sprinter at school so probably 11ish seconds for 100 but yeah happened against japan as well last year.
