My first Test Match being at the ground was the 1981 Lancaster Park match.
We were spat on as we went in and the police presence was very unKiwi as they had no idea how to handle the fans and the protesters.

When did we start helping the opposition up during a game and why?
Once upon a time this would have been considered a complete show of weakness!
You used to accidently stand on them.....
Not help them up!

Once upon a time I would either celebrate a try or go "OOOOoooo that's a close one.. we'll have to wait and see" but now I find myself not celebrating what appears to clearly be a try until I've held my breath and the TMO has not intervened.
It takes the fun out of it!!!
