The squad that will be named in a few hours time will be a squad of 36 apparently.

Good tackler, good goalkicker, covers 12 and 15, kicks his team around the field and runs it hard and straight. Complete waste of time for the All Blacks, obviously.
Not compatible with the way we want to play
The Abs strengths over the next 2-3 seasons are in their set piece, tight 5, halfback, Jordie coming into his peak and from the back with Jordan and if we get the outside backs right.
This screams out for a 10 who can put us in the right places in the field.
With Roigard at 9 we need less of a playmaker, gamebreaker at 10.But it seems as though we are obseessed with chipkicks
I agree with your comment about Roigard but problem is he's often been injured so far in his career so we can't rely on him to save us from our current first choice 10s.

@sparky why is CLW needed if Lakai and Savea cover 8 for Sititi?
Blackadder was average af for Ta$man yesterday but he'll probably only need to prove fitness which he did. Thought Lasaqa was the better of the two 7s in that particular game.
It's going to be a very tough RC so I don't think that leaves a lot of room to be nursing too many players coming back from injury/medical back to fitness.

Anyone know what time the squad is named? And is it live?

Think its 12pm

Very inexperienced loose forward selection.
My hot take is Papalii is a better rugby player than every loose forward named apart from Savea. The rest are relatively unproven and far more inexperinced at test level.
He was superb coming off the bench against France and is a superb player.

lol what the actual fuck is that loose forward "mix"

They are, still been named, but that's why these 3 halfbacks named as injury cover.

three locks
three blindsides
three opensides
i assume Sititi will play 8
And a hybrid. -
No real arguments with anyone named, anyone who didn't think Christy wssn't getting named ,I suspect weren't really thinking. They not going into RC with only one halfback with test experience.
I was slightly surprised that Darry wasn't named, and with Parker there, is the Vai'i thing at 6 coming to end?
