Born a bastard in Sydney, realised after 18 months that the place was no good so moved to Palmy. Post-OE I only made it back as far as Sydney and have been here > 50% of my life now.
Support AB's in everything first, thgen Oz 2nd in everything except cricket, cos fck those cnts.

I won a tie break in a quiz in Sydney by knowing the capital of Burkina Faso is Ouagadougou.
One of the few countries anywhere I wouldn't want to visit. Most are in West Africa

Okiato being Wellington to Russell's Auckland.
Ok.
Had a book in the deep dark distant past that describes Russell, then known as Kororareka as "The Hellhole of the Pacific", which has stuck with me for 40+ years.

Born in Welly and spent my first 20 odd years there, then moved to Auckland and lived there for over a decade. Now back north of Wellington up the coast to be closer to family. Also spent a lot of time as a kid (months at a time) in England as that's where my Mum and all her family lives. Support All Blacks as my first team, England as my second. Locally I am a Canes man through and through but support the Blues as my second team as my oldest boy is a Blues man after growing up there.
