@Darth-Sader It's good to reflect on how poor the performances were, and head off any "hard done by" talk. These were the biggest scores conceded of all time. Addressing these defensive deficiencies must be priority number one.
-
i wouldn't mind an overseas defence coach, someone to bring a new approach.

Robertson tried to change the complete style of New Zealand rugby by instituting a kicking system and eliminating counter attacking. Which could have worked but he tried to be too much of a diplomat and keep hold of the players invested in the All Blacks old style of rugby. When John Mitchell came in he completely got rid of the old players and built his own team.

Sure, but you could pull up the same for Foster. I was being facetious, but I agree it makes a pretty clear point. I’m just not sure the man needs to be kicked while he’s down right now.

@Darth-Sader making the same mistakes that got the previous guys moved on is pretty damning
-
@Darth-Sader Sorry, but he appointed Ellison and Hansen, so he does.

Well, I can’t disagree there…

From quite a few different conversations. This is roughly how things played out, as best I’ve been able to piece together. It’s from a few sources, so there are probably some gaps in here too. Been a bit on the fence about sharing this because can’t confirm a few details but here goes.
@Landers92 you’re very connected to this as well so feel free to add anything I’ve missed.
Players went to Razor with some major culture / strategy / communication concerns and asked if he could work with them to solve them.
He promised that he would.
He then made the exact opposite decisions without consulting or communicating with them.
He then limited (some?) access to himself and directed feedback to more frequently go through Hansen. From that point onwards, players seem to have not only felt like they no longer had a voice, but were dismissed when they approached Hansen with the same concerns. At the same time an islander contingent began to feel they were losing their voice.
At some stage, some staff stepped in to bridge the gap and were rebuffed too, unclear whether by Hansen or Razor. This may have happened multiple times.
Somewhere along the line, you had a strategy camp who had issues with management and direction, and island players who felt directly targeted by non-selections they believed were aimed at them for having expressed concerns rather than based on performance. (It may well have been about performance, but perception often becomes reality.)
A big piece of feedback I’ve heard is that when it came to managing people bringing issues to him, he seemed completely lost. In fact, “lost” is probably too kind. In most instances, he appears to have given the worst possible replies, alienating people who were trying to work with him to solve problems. This especially seems to be the case with Savea, the islander boys and some staff. May be true of wider camp but can’t confirm.
Some people who genuinely cared stepped in to try and work with him, and he just didn’t seem to recognise that they were trying to help him.
So he's autistic.

Fuck off.
He fucked our national side over. -

So who has played their last test?
This is quite an interesting question.
Is team Razor disruptive. Are they going to be shitty.
Is a guy like Codie Taylor, albeit still playing great footy too closely aligned with Razor following more than a decade of playing under him.
Will Scott Barrett play for the ABs again?
Will Razor's boy Richie Mo'unga have the desire to come back and play under someone that isn't rugby dad?
Then we can probably say it is the end of Christie, Bower, Reece, Blackadder (properly this time), McAlister.
Then there will be others who may have sat in the Razor camp that could just disappear.
The incoming coach may wish to have are you in or are you out conversations prior to selection. Aaying that they doubt they may be in with the new set up.

I lot of Hate on Crusaders sites by the public for BB and Savea looks like they will get a great welcome when they turn up in CHCH.
Not that I want to see it,not the way to react. That's a shame. Hung drawn and quartered by rumours. What if some of the senior players with adverse feedback were also Crusaders...
Exactly my point about I don’t want to see that reaction
