Hope this game isn't gonna turn into a similar encounter to last year against them where we spend the next 40 having scrums on our line whilst losing players in the process.

Technically yeah, though when a player is contesting the ball, and an opposition player tries to clean him out and can't, rarely does a ruck immediately get called
He had 2 goes at the ball, always gets called that way mate.

Yep rather than improve as part of TRC and super rugby they seem to have gone backwards.

The refs are inconsistent at best in that area, but I will concede it was the correct call. Far be it for me to defend SBW...

Fifita jumped and was tackled in the air. Technically a penalty. Well if you're a French ref that is. And no I'm not still bitter.
