    Sounds pretty kiwi to me?

I remember him sounding more Kiwi than this.

You reckon he sounds Irish? Definitely not to me. If anything I almost detect a bit of English Saffa.

@daffy-jaffy That is piss poor from Farrell.

I was amazed that all four of the refereeing team missed it, until I found out they don't have TMOs at that level.

Still amazing no one thought to watch the obvious.

Yeah there’s still the ref and the two touch judges and it wasn’t off the ball let alone away from the play. Crazy. Farrell has dodged that one.

How can that not be referred?

    Ludicrous, but judiciary 🤷

Pita Ahki was named man of the match in yesterday's HC first semi-final. Great performance both in attack and defence. Kaino and Faumuina also very good for Toulouse.

@cgrant Kaino and Charlie F in the final of the European Cup. They must be delighted after so many years of failure and heartache at the Blues.

LAR with a kiwi 8,9,10 axis into European rugby final. Vito is still excellent.

La Rochelle into the European Cup Final for the first-time. Coached by ex-Crusaders Back Coach Ronan O'Gara and ex-All Black Jono Gibbs. Vito, Kerr-Barlow and West their 8-9-10.

He’s been very good every time I’ve seen him. Amazing that he didn’t really nail down an AB squad place

    You’re claiming O’Gara? Blatant poach.

@catogrande Looks like he learned a thing or two from Razor. Could have been England's new coaching duo but they stuck with Eddie and Cueball.

VV had Kaino, the GOAT, Read and Sam Cane ahead of him so not so surprising. Think he would have replaced Kieran Read at 8 in 2018 if he'd stayed in NZ.

For sure, not an easy group to break into, but latterly and looking to the future you could argue that Vito was the better option than Read and maybe Kaino. Admittedly I wouldn’t have seen as much of all three as you guys but it seems quite a loss currently.

No one really expected Read to drop off as much as he did in his last few years, but at their peaks Read was a better player. Vito has 2 RWC medals and is 34, absolutely no one can begrudge him chasing the coin.

What's surprising is West is a first choice 10 in a European final.

West was bloody good too. Nailed all but 1 kick and a DG. Brought his usual flat line attacking threat.

The coaches seemed to insist Vito was a 6, and mostly put him there. When t was always so fkn obvious he was an 8, played there excellently for the Canes and now French

He is so good at 8 that Gregory Aldritt, Les Bleus' 8, has been moved to 6.

Alldritt is a bloody good 8 but also more versatile than Vito. If you want them both in your back row then Vito is your 8. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they got another really good 6. Close call imo.

No Bristol. Where he currently plays rugby.
