Going on the assumption that those not wearing bibs on Wednesday will be the ones starting then Flanders, Savea, Love, Laumape, IWL, Blackwell all look to be in the run-on side. Not sure when the team is due to fly to Australia but I'd assume it would be either today or tomorrow morning.

@kiwimurph honestly, I hate them. They look like a t shirt ... not the content (ambivalent), but the amount of signwrighting.

I wonder if they'll let Ruben Love hold the ball this week?

@tim I find it odd that PUJ can't even make the 23 in the most important game of the campaign after he had some beautiful touches last week. I think all this rotation will come back to bite us. Wes Goosen should also be starting ahead of Savea.

@tim No R. Prinsep, what's going on here? Don't know whether to Irish Jig in jubilation at that or to start sulking with the almost certain knowledge that the 'Canes cannot possibly win without his alleged invaluable leadership.

@higgins Prinsep isn't the issue for me, it's Blackwell. If Holland wants to muscle up against the Brumbies he's not going to do that with Blackwell, infact the best defensive player against lineouts is IWL and he's on the bench, makes no sense at all.

@canes4life Sense and J. Holland do not go together in the same sentence, unless the "sense" word is prefixed with "non".

                            From the same article:

Barrett makes his 12th start from as many matches in 2021, the only Hurricane to run on every time.

You'd think they have to rest Jordie at some point, but the only round robin game left is next week's against the Reds and that could be tricky. If you look at the games in which the Highlanders are resting Aaron Smith (against the Tahs) and the Crusaders Mo'unga (against the Force), the Canes have not done their player management well.

@stargazer They have player managed a few of their players rather well, keeping them nice and fresh for the NPC and Ranfurly Shield ddefenses in particular!

@stargazer I doubt they will rest Jordie now. I'm not too worried, he seems to be the sort of player that can handle a massive workload.

@canes4life It may reduce his chances of playing in the first ABs test, though, because there's a good chance the Super T-T final will be between the Blues and Hurricanes.
