How can you play Australia in the Semi Final, yet have a referee who is Australian? That seems a bit fucked up. Other codes have only refs from neutral countries at World Cups.

Just watched the delayed coverage. All the comments about the Kiwis poor fitness and conditioning are so true. Papalii was about the only forward who was good to play 80 mins.

I thought that shoulder charges were now penalised in RL? Obviously not.

Well that was a great final to finish of the tournament with the two best teams battering the shit out of each other. Oh wait. This was just a semi final. Congrats to Aussie. My preference for winning the whole thing is now Samoa, Oz, then England.

The only thing about the penalty on Smith that annoyed me was that same play of tackler not moving quick enough happens all over the field but it only gets penalised close to the line.
