Even without Pascoe and the fedora man, the Tigers are still the most shambolic outfit in the NRL in a league that includes the Titans.

Hasn't quite worked out.......yet haha. Maybe the Warriors can work their magic on him like we did turning Barnett into an Origin player. We're as likely to do a Townsend on him where he's mud for us and then goes on to win premierships with other clubs. Ha, my mate then went on to say the exact thing in regards to Barnett. Hope he goes well and is more James Maloney instead of Jeff Robson.

@mariner4life sorry bro, I was just reminded of something Beattie said about 20 years when he went on a visit to NZ and said something like “Qld is NZ’s best friend” and then someone replied, “you mean just the Gold Coast”

@mariner4life said in NRL 2022: Salary cap jumps basically 25% next year. Some boys about to get paid, and some bad contracts suddenly won't look so bad. But of course, there has to be a loser, and outrage. And guess what? It appears NRLW players on social media are as dumb as their male counterparts Their cap jumped, but the cap is basically the same as one highly paid player. This is unacceptable to some. They should get heaps more. Lets just remember there are 6 teams in the comp. and they play 5 games and two finals. in front of 8 people. that's it. You are dreaming ladies. Bigot

Aren't there quite a few Samoans in the NFL?. Thought I read once that American Samoa were well represented.

@mariner4life said in NRL 2021: so it's fucking silly season in teh recruitment stakes. Players making moves, lots for the 2023 season (which menas prepare for the barrage of stories about wanting an early release, get rid of him he's not committed etc) Penrith obviously battling to keep everyone so they lost Kikau to the Bulldogs. Not a huge loss though Melbourne have lost Kaufusi to the Dolphins, again no massive loss especially in another year The Bulldogs pinched Reed Mahoney from the Eels in a bit of a shock The big free agent is The Cheese, and everyone wants him. So, of course, it looks like the Roosters will get him. Bulldogs recruiting nicely, still need to play well together though. Kikau is a pretty good buy in my opinion, always a threat on the edge. Penrith do have other backrowers but Kikau if used well is dangerous The cheese to the roosters who will probably won't supposedly pay him overs compared to other clubs..wow that is a great pick up if rumours are true. Dolphins will need to pick up a few names soon.. not just kaufusi, and agree not a huge loss to the storm

Well we should be able to afford you now we’ve offloaded SJ. Heard from a sauce that there might be some controversy coming our way We've missed on controversy so far so we're due ... it seems weird you saying 'our/we' for a team not from Canterbury. It would likely be impossible to select a Kiwis team of players with the links to Canterbury. It’s a big year for me. The Warriors are having their 25th anniversary and it happens to coincides with my own 25th anniversary of my first ever throw the remote at the TV moment....

as if we needed another lesson about recording yourselves doing 'fun' stuff... pretty shit that someone is trying to drag these guys down so many years after the fact. Bit of a non-event and if anyone is surprised by the antics then .... not much you can do for em!
