If it was in reverse unsure how I would feel. I think more inclined to blame the player for just ignoring the ref's warning

The Cantabs would have been piling in to Raynal hard out
The Auckland guys would have been piling in to Mo'unga
Half of everyone else would have blamed Foster. The other half would have blamed a Ioane brother.

Ignoring his own teammates yelling and gesturing to him right in earshot?
I’m starting to get Foley and Foster confused due to a similarity in buck passing traits. -

Even if that’s the case, who cares.
How many halfbacks are waving their arms and yelling at the ref when there is a delay in getting the ball into a scrum by their opposite number.
How many players in a lineout are yelling and throwing their arms in the air when there is a delay by the opposition hooker to throw the ball into a lineout.

i really think I, and maybe others, would have more sympathy if he took any responsibility, if he came out with
"yeah, i was trying to take as long as im allowed, looking at it now i should have kicked is sooner..."
then id be happy to talk about how rare the call is and stuff...but if they're determined to say the ref was 100% wrong and blame him for everything....thats weak

I’m starting to get Foley and Foster confused due to a similarity in buck passing traits.None of their story makes any sense. It is my genuinely held belief that Foley is a liar and doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to own up to the error.
And then there's the little issue that the winning try won the match, not the freekick.
