Observing Gilbert on Friday, I'd be quite surprised if he hasn't torn a calf - would be stunned if he plays this week.
Be intriguing to see who they go with at fullback, because Nareki has moved there in a couple of games, but to my knowledge, he has never started a game in his career at the pro level anywhere but the left wing.

I expect TUJ will be back this week.
The fullback I'd like the see have a run there is Sam Nemac Vial. Limited time off the bench at the wing. Fullback is his primary position.

As a Highlanders fan, I'm a bit disappointed. Wanted to see Pledger and Lennox go head to head.

We are all just supporting actors in Canterbury's play this year.
Certainly feels like our years to be Taranaki though.
