I only see France living with this Boks team right now. They have taken their game to another level since the last RWC which is something I didn't see coming. The clash in Paris is going to be something special.
A full England side will beat SA this November
Not a dig, but what basis do you think this could happen? I can't see it myself.
Lions boost
Lots of really good players playing well
Edit
Shit they’re not playing each other

Razzle Dazzle

90 points up and Boks have 60 of them!

Absolutely.
Somebody mentioned this ABs team is a bit like the black caps from a few years back where they would select players because they cleared a half century a few seasons back.
The likes of BB and Ioane should have been phased out 2 or 3 seasons ago. Their performances just haven't been enough.
Sooner than that.
Beaudy was “washed” by his own standards at the end of the 2019 World Cup.
Rieko has done fuck all since 2020 really, again by his own standards.
We have gone soft at the selection table.
ALB has 80 odd caps. I can’t remember a signature performance amongst them.

Remarkable when you consider his career was nearly over twice.

NZRU need to get their head out of their arses. Overseas player selections hasn't damaged the Curry Cup as a competition.

In fact, it has given many more players an opportunity

We are a joke right now. Handicapping ourselves by not even allowing players who have returned to NZ to be picked immediately- i.e Leicester. We simply aren't good enough to be this stupid. A pro game run by amateurs.

shh! Dont let the cat out of the bag!
Giving new talent the opportunity at TOP flight rugby around the world means that when your country comes calling, you're as ready as can be.
It's insular thinking if you ask me.

Look at the demographics of NZ and SA. SA aren’t excluding a sizeable part of their population anymore and have worked hard in their development pathways to identify and select the best talent available. SA are now reaping the benefits of greater playing numbers.

Who is playing overseas that the All Blacks would select?
NZ is fighting a losing battle given their geography and the strength of the Kiwi dollar to keep young talent in NZ. If NZ allow players to be selected from abroad, then it will gut what is already a small playing pool (relative to other countries). Less time with players, less chance to work and develop them.
SA, by joining European competition, now have the cash to retain their young players. SA were losing large numbers abroad for a time for exactly the reason NZ are now.

It’s ok. Most kiwis think that the players in NZ are not the problem. … even after the last 3 coaches have had, according to them below par performances. It’s a circular firing squad.

@stodders there are a number of players in tonight's team that were produced by European club rugby. ie Boan was 1 week away from being selected to play for Scotland before Rassie Yoinked him.
That is to say, why do players need to be developed in NZ specifically?
