Mealamu “gets it”.
Delighted he was involved.
This is the bloke who sent Dan Carter and Richie McCaw back to their rooms to get proper clobber after turning up to the hotel breakfast buffet slovenly attired.
Now get rid of the multi coloured boots, social media and boy band haircuts.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

@tubbyj Completely different scenario. The players had faith in Foster to get the best out of them, he respected them and earned their loyalty.
If 25% of what we hear is true, Robertson was the opposite and thought dealing with stuff about player concerns was above him.

Why wasn't he concerned in 2022 when Foster was dragging the team down to this level?
He was. Difference is Foster listened to his players and engaged with them. BB has spoken openly about it.

Which is why you don't listen to the players on who should be coach. Fair enough fire Robertson on the results but not Ardie Saveas feels
Which, as Kirk has made clear, what happened.

Once again what difference did that make? We got thrashed at Twickenham by the Boks, lost to Argentina at home, lost our first RWC pool game and I don't see the WC in our trophy cabinet.

When asked in the presser what he thought as a fan Kirk touched on things like inconsistency, slumps in the 3rd quarters of games and discipline.

It's not feels, it's honest feedback.
Saying that, I hope Ardie is relegated to an impact player.

Are you saying losing the dressing room and support staff is OK as the previous bloke didn't have a 100% record?

No I am saying that Ardie should have been just as damning of Foster not saying "hes my coach and I have his back" if he was consistent and not one of the single biggest problems in the team culture himself.
??
Maybe because Ardie wasn't ignored by the Head Coach when he had problems/concerns

You can't have a review and not get the feedback of a key component of the team, that's just silly.
The decision was made on the entirety of the review, not just on the player's feedback.

What consistency? The only parallel seems to be similar results. The team culture was obviously very strong as opposed to non-existent.
Why would he complain about team culture if there was no problem with it?

What difference does team Culture make if the results are the same? It is a professional sport now now a amateur leisure time pursuit.
You appear to just be being a contrarian now, of course team culture makes a difference. It wont always lead to success but it's a better base than a crap team culture. Razor had a good team culture at the successful Crusaders.
A professional organisation creates a good culture, it's amateur to carry on with a shit one.
