@brodean cant say i’m fully sold on Proctor myself but what i am saying he deserves a full season to bed in
Besides i dont see too many other options staring us in the face
It would be pointless going back to Reiko if your trying to develop your attack i just dont see the guy as natural distributor and hes played plenty of rugby at 13 for both the Blues and the ABs .
If we have losses where theres disfunction in those particular areas by all means make changes but in the mean time no need to change Proctor imo
Just for the record whom would you bring in ?I agree. He's shown at SR level he has the capability, I feel it's worth more time in the saddle to see if he can steadily improve.
Dumping him now would surely destroy his confidence.
The player that most needs to be put on the pine is the one player they won't: Ardie Savea. Why aren't we discussing his "impact" more openly? Or is it enough he didn't try another chip kick in our own 22?

Love needs to be in the 23.
We need to experiment.
Love to 15 /10 or wing Do some goal kicking.
Give DMac game time.
Jordan swap at times to wing
Give Proctor more time
Aimless kicks are a nightmare -
@His-Bobness just need a decent 10 who knows how to manage this game plan. Oh wait he’s coming back soon.
-
One or two fullas need to retire

Dan's a bit old for a comeback.

It's luvly jubbly having a forward pack. It's been a long time coming.
I feel we can now go toe to toe with the SA pack.Early days - but, shifting Vaa'i to 6 might be a masterstroke - our own version of PSdT.
At full strength (soon, but maybe not yet), we could go:
Williams, Taylor, Lomax, Holland, Barrett, Vaa'i, Savea, Sititi
deGroot, Taukei'aho, Newell, Tuipolotu, Parker, Lakai (6/2 split if we want it)For now, probably Finau and Jacobson for Parker and Lakai.

I feel we can now go toe to toe with the SA pack. From memory we played them last year on about 40 percent possession , not enough ball in reality , it may have worked in the past,
I suspect if we can even the possession stats we will have them very concerned
-
@kiwiinmelb Add in Sititi and Roigard and things are sweet.
Flyhalf is a major problem area though. -
A Clarke Love Jordan combo could be spicy.

-
Regardless of anything we are in a much better position than we have been in for years JOY
-
@BerniesCorner it’s not really. We’ve got the greatest super rugby player of all time coming back next year

All Blacks are gonna be favourites to win Super Rugby that's for sure

@Chuck72 Razors not shifting Will Jordan for anyone. Prime Christian Cullen maybe.
Cully can go to centre and fix the problem there....

It takes some effort to play in four All Blacks Test wins and never impose yourself on a game.
Took Vaa'i more than that, to be fair.

Random thoughts:
-
Don't go for blaming just Christie for Argentina getting back into the game. Things went to poo collectively. And lets face it, he;s probably no. 5 in the pecking order
-
Liked the way we battled back and scored two tries by doing the basics well. If that was an on-field leadership, kudos to Ardie as it wasn't coming from Scott Barrett.
-
Agree with all the comments about the backs playing too fast/flashy. Who runs the backline? Is anyone running the backline? Can;t expect a rookie 13 to shine playing in that environment. Nor Roigard to manufacture a magically transformation. Serious work needed,
-
ALB was awful. Admire his loyalty after being fucked around by coach after coach but he really should hang up his boots
-
We really have some depth in the tight 5. Think we'll have a settled Vaa'i/RD/Wallace combination by the end of the RC. Can't wait.
